Most common word in a domain name

I have on a few odd occasions seen people use one certain word in their domain name and it becomes a common used word in a lot of domain names. 


What words have you seen used a lot in domain names? Do you feel it's a good idea to use a common word in a domain name?

"The" is the most used word in the world, so it must be the most used word in the domains departmant, after it should be a number I guess.

I agree with you one the word 'the' I can't say I see it used too often myself in domains I use frequently but I have seen it come up a few times. I would imagine it being a popular word it would also be hard to rank as well but that's just guessing as I have never used a domain name with the word 'the'.

I agree with both the above. 'The' is over used in domain names which makes it the most popular when it comes to a word in a domain name. I can imagine it being really hard to rank as well it being such a common word.
