Question about .EDU domains
#1
Can you get them if you are doing government certifications?

I have a friend that runs several websites that have online schools dedicated which certify people to do things.

These schools are approved by the US government and also run in accordance with all the laws and mandates of various boards.

My questions is can my friend get a .EDU domain name? Their company is a non-profit one.
