High paying words on Adsense

I was reading a couple of days ago that there are some very high paying words in Adsense. I even saw a list, among them it was "mesothelioma" with prices of more than $70. I still don't get the whole thing about it. Can anyone explain why a word in Adsense would be so much valuable than another? I'm going to look around and see of I can find the list, because it was really interesting.
