Well as I can see nowadays the .com seemed to take over the market and most people are more likely to write in .com into their browser, so but let's say that you planned about a name for your company and you are going to register the .com domain, because it is the most famous, but then you find out that the .com domain has already been taken, what would you do? Change the name of the company? or simply register .net or .org or something else? if you decide to instead making a .net or so, would that mean that you will receive less hits and less traffic? or you think that it won't make any difference?

A friend sent me the link to get into duno.com. They were paying per post in a rediculous way! Too much and too free to be real! Well, they reached very hight traffic and then all of a sudden, they changed the rules and nobody was getting paid, only one person that would be chosen as the best poster of the day, and they will get paid a percentage of the ads winnings for the day. Long story short, almost nobody is left, they open even a site in Spanish that directs people to the english site. Now, how can someone do that? To me is simple scam! Did anyone tried that or even heard of that one? Just curious to know.

Since I've been reading about the iPhone, I wonder, how proffitable can be to have a domain with specific products in the name when they are widely popular, like PS2 or PS3 or Wii? Are there legal problems for example if one registers "thePS3experts.com"? Or is there some kind of trademark law infringement? Anybody knows for sure? I'm just curious, because even though I am not really into games, I guess many domains exist already with those names of products.

What about iPhone domains? |

I guess that if they are not all taken by now, the ones that are available are very obscure! I believe many people will jump on this hot product coming into the market to make some bucks! I've sen it and read some stuff in other forums, and the craze is already in motion for people to get it. Maybe having "iPhone" on a domain will be the right thing at the right time! Of course I thought of some great names, but I haven't checked anything yet! Have you?

I am thinking of starting my own blog, but I have no idea of what to write about... I mean, many ideas have come to my mind, but I am not sure really which will work best and how it will be received. I catch a couple of blogs here and there, but nothing really impressive. I even thought of putting "conversations" in there, I mean, what I actually talk with people about... I think it would be crazy! LOL.
Do you have a blog? What is it about? I would like to know! Thanks!
