I understand why you want to keep it a sales thread but unfortunately this is a forum that requires new members to post at least 15 replies before they can post a new thread. So you have to expect a bunch of non-sense replies. kind of like this one. I like your domain. It would be good to develop. Cheerio!
admin edit: moved to new thread, moved out of sales section

and it tells you "your search -...- doesn't match any documents" does it mean that the domain for that is still available? I was chatting with someone that told me that every time she thought of a domain, would do a Google search, if it turned nothing back, it means it is available... what do you know about this? How to know for sure? Anyone care to explain? I would greatly appreciate it! Remember, I am still learning!

Hi all,
Most of us have experienced, the links we post, are changed to titled links instead, which is weird and very unexpected. also troublesome for some users. So, remove it? make it optional?

What to do with a great name domain? |

Hello all of you!
I've been working with a woman who is developing an online magazine. We had a session of brainstorming to find the perfect name for the site, and I came up with it and well, "gave it" to her. She also shared it with another guy she was working with, they had some differences and he went and register the domain himself.
Was I an idiot for giving her the name instead of buying it myself and then sell it to her? It was a really good name!
Now we got again into another brainstorming, and I gave her a few ideas again. Of course, nothing like that original one, but I still think is pretty good. My partner insists that I'm an idiot for not getting into what this website is really all about!
But I believe that is the ethical thing not to just give her the name and then register right away so she'll have to pay me for it! I belive that my relationship with her is more important and definatly more proffitable for me as a writer than as a domain owner!
If you were in this situation, what would you do?
And I'm sorry this became such a long post!

Keeping it clean, or going for the money? |

In our endless discussions, my partner and I are talking about keeping our site clean from any sex or porn advertisement, since we want kids of 15 minimum to participate in our site. He insist that since in Germany censorship is not that tough, we can get away with it buy having a big disclosure that only people over 18 can click those ads. I feel that we better keep it clean, and avoid those kinds of problems that may lead us to problems with the law. And besides, wouldn't even be more complicated to have those disclosures set up? Because if we put it on our main page, that might scare many users, or parents that wont allow their kids using our website. How can one control that the person is really over 18? What do you think?
