I've heard of .com, .net, .biz, .org, and those other ones along with all the country-specific extensions, but what is .mobi? I can't think of a term that would really make sense with that one? Is it an abbreviation of "mobile?"

Well the .mobi might just catch on like the .com or .net or .org. Sometimes the least likely thing can end up being popular and a success.

I guess if it is a suffix dedicated to all things "mobile", then it could be a great thing to buy. I think it could have a lot of potential, just like the .TV suffix. But I don't know how much are they. It would be a matter of looking for it.
