Ok guys, I was looking at this company "TrademarkMyName.com". What they provide are :-
1. Trademark Search
2. Trademark Application Process
3. Monitor and Protect Your Valuable Trademark

They are backed by PatentCafe.com. Scott Fields is the managing attorney of TrademarkMyName. So, do anyone ever tried their service? Or most of you just couldn't be bother to spend on this area?Rolleyes

  Getting revenue for ex-blog domains?
Posted by: llegent - 07-05-2006, 08:00 AM - Forum: PPC / CPC / Affiliate Programs - Replies (21)

I am looking for some suggestions in converting the traffic for expired domains that were previously a Blog. Is there any good affiliate program or PPC that is suitable for this type of domain?

I grabbed some of these domains which previously were Blog, and were enjoying pretty good traffic volume. At the moment I do not intend to develop the domain into a website. These domains still have some google PR, but I need to act fast to capture the potential traffic before it plumps off. I am parking them at godaddy currently.

  Potential Value for IDN?
Posted by: llegent - 07-05-2006, 07:14 AM - Forum: Domain Name Appraisals - Replies (2)

Hi every experts here. I am researching about IDN recently as you could see my recent posts in other section. Ok now, while browsing domain marketplace at afternic just now, I was pretty much shock to notice that there are some IDN which are able to rack in a good price. See this particular sale :- http://www.afternic.com/name.php?id=12224925

If you see the "Offer history", there are a totally of 7bids offered for this IDN. And it was sold for USD380/= ! This is indeed a good price considering the name which I don't even understand what it means:confused:

What your thoughts in this? So far anyone involved in IDN trade yet? Would you kind enough to share your "secret" with us?:p

  Traffic volume for IDN?
Posted by: llegent - 07-05-2006, 07:05 AM - Forum: Domain Discussion - No Replies

Hi everyone, learning thru zach reply and information pertaining to IDN (in my other thread), it sparks my thoughts further. Thus this thread is open for the purpose of studying the potential traffic for IDNs.

As I am aware, most browser have yet to support IDN at this moment, how high the potential of such domains in term of getting the traffic volume? Anyone currently have IDN under their belt? Hw is your IDN performing so far? or you are still waiting for IE7 final release which is suppose to be able to support IDN ?

Kind to share?

  Domain with Number as character?
Posted by: llegent - 07-04-2006, 02:24 PM - Forum: Domain Discussion - Replies (7)

Ok guys, it is not a new thing to us that there are some domains with only numbers in them, eg 123 .com, 163 .com ..etc . On top of this, there a tones of domain with numbers in them, eg biz365 .com, trade365 .com...etc. So how do these domain able to gain the recognition from search engine? I mean, they could not possibly contain "keyword" in them isn't it?? especially those with purely numbers only!

Anyone has good inputs?

  Poker related domain name?
Posted by: llegent - 07-04-2006, 02:04 PM - Forum: Domain Name Appraisals - Replies (21)

Hi everyone. to my knowledge, the "poker" related domain names are getting some serious attention from domain players paying. They are seeking the best opportunity to grab these domains if the price is right.

Now, what's about the true value in these type of domains? Is it due to the potential traffic from major SE for the keyword contained in these domains? or because these domains can be developed into website with related poker affiliate programs which pay high commision?

Expired Domain's PR and back link?
Posted by: llegent - 07-04-2006, 01:46 PM - Forum: Domain Discussion - Replies (2)

Hi everyone. I am trying to get into grabbing some expired domain name. Well, some domains seems good to me as they are currently having google PR and/or some back links in the major 3 search engines.

Yup, I am quite surprise to see that those expired domain are having some back links and even google PR. Most likely the said domain is just expired few days ago, and search engine have yet to synchronoze their data centre on this domain status change.

So now, if I were to grab and register these domains before the effect of expiration took place, would I be able to sort of "securing" the PR ? meaning the PR wouldn't drop?

What about the existing back links? Would it be still in effect?
