Hi guys. There are tones of acronyms domains out there as we aware. Anyone have experience in them? or owning such domains? I am curious as to what sort of keywords do you guys use to maximize the revenue for this type of domain?
I mean, if I were to just parked the domain, the general PPC could be very low, how do you guys choose the appropriate keywords related to this type of domains in boosting up the revenue?
Thanks for sharing!!

Ok guys, I heard that while holding off their domain portfolio, some actually do develop their domains. How do you guys do it?? Do you also perform some SEO for the domain you developed into site?
By developing the domains, do you see higher return than just parking it?

Hi everyone, I am quite curious on this :- if someone is looking forward to generate serious amount of income per month through domain parking (eg 2k to 3k consistently), is there any specific amount of domain that you are looking to retain under your control?
I am thinking that in order ofr me to generate this kind of income, I might need to have a huge portfolio of about 500 to 1k of domains in order to see a significant revenue. But obviously it will also depends on the domain name for the potential traffic...but has anyone been able to reap such return in revenue?
I would like to hear from your experience. Do you really need a huge portfolio in order to generate such revenue?

Intellitext or other alternatives |

Intellitext is one of those advertisers who focus on dhtml ads that pop-up as you hover over keywords in text. Unfortunately they require 500,000 pv a month before they will even talk to you.
Does anyone know of any similar services that are reasonable but have a lower page view requirement?

Domains with Branding Value? |

I know the rage has been for years for people to focus on the simple, short, and generic words as the highest possible domains. A lot of it is due to inert traffic they bring.
My question is why is there not more value placed on potential branding domains? It seems the entire domain marketplace is squarely focused on domains and how they do in the serps, and actual usuability and branding potential are worth virtually nothing.
For example, A23.com is a much worse domain than hotcars.com from the standpoint of user memorability and retention. You have to remember 3 things, a, 2 and 3 for the first, and only two things hot and car for the second. Since the brain can treat a word as a single object, a compound word can often be more effective than a shorter, but more complicated domain.
My speculation is this is simply because it involves way too much guessing. You could never predict someone could make google into a billion dollar business. However you would be amazed at the number of real usuable domains are still out there that don't fit the traditional criteria of the domain hunter.

Hi everyone. When it comes to domains catching, is anyone here specializes in a particular niche domain name? like speculation of niche markets or the domain?
Is catching such niche area for domain brings better return for you? rather than trying to catch any nice domain, what's the return rate for your "niche' domain?

Ok guys, we are quite aware that google is placing more "weight" on certain domians with "trust-worthy" extension like .gov, .edu . What about .org then?? I thought it was in good eye-sight in google "weighting scale" until not long ago it was sort of spammed and flooded with "specially made for google PR" site couping up and abuse the .org extention.
So is google still placing more weight in .org extention? or no longer consider it as "trust-worthy? anymore?
