dot me domain name

what do you think of the dot me domain name ? i can see it from many websites !
Also i can see it http://www.todaynic.com too ! discuss it! 
This one's going to be a lot of hype, no rush, I guess.
Somehow, these unique ccTLDs like .ME (Montenegro) or .WS (Western Samoa) don't really sound very nice for a domain name. In my opinion, the only ccTLDs with some semblance of value addition or appeal are .US (USA) and .IN (India). .COM has a universal appeal and is well established. So are .NET and .ORG. Let's take the example of this very forum name and see how the names look! DomainSocial.com DomainSocial.net DomainSocial.org DomainSocial.info DomainSocial.us DomainSocial.in DomainSocial.ws DomainSocial.me See my own domain name - itssri.com - itssri is already "me" (as in myself) with a .COM; proclaiming to the world that hey I am itssri and I have a commercial interest, establishment, whatever. Why would I want to repeat myself with itssri.me? It sounds like hey "I am itssri" and "I am me". I hope you get my point!

Its just a hype. i want to wait and see how it goes. for me .com is still the prefered tld

the rush of dot me domain name is not like that of the dot mobi domain !
i remember the rush of the dot mobi domain is really worldwide !!!

Yes people just seem to be attracted to the .me names but there's no question that .com's are still the most popular. Just tougher to find good domains!
