What make a domain expensive/cheap?

As title says, what makes a domain expensive or cheap? Just the PR effect the price? I think that the name matters too? or not really? Please help me, thanks. I would like to know what things make a domain expensive.

This is such an opened ended question.
There are so many factors to consider.
If you pursue domains like I do, it is amazing what some bring and what little others do.
I believe timing has a great deal to do too.
Then there is the saying, "...one man's junk is another man's treasure."

Go figure.

Best advice is to always be thinking what you want to promote.


This isn't much, but it all about your continued research in all the domain web sites out there.


By the way, how many domains do you have at present?

Do you plan on developing them into web sites?
