Welcome to this site! I guess that if you look around enough, you'll find the answers to all your questions! Many here are dedicated professionals and know everything about domains!

That's a lot of questions for a thread, but to answer them really quickly, here it goes:
1. Sedo acts as a kind of escrow. The buyer transfers the money to Sedo, and Sedo Transfers it to you. Also, only transfer the site/domain AFTER you have been paid. 2. List sites at all the brokerages (afternic sedo, etc.) and here on the Domain Social Forum. 3. Generally paypal or bank transfer. Cheque is less common. 4. .net is about 1/3rd of the value of a .com, the others are about 1/4 the value of a .net 5. yes, you can judge yourself (theres a detailed section on this in the Domain Book). Also, you can get free apraisals here in the appraisal section of the forum. In your case, I do recommend that you go out and get the Domain Book. It is perfect for getting you started in this business and helping you close your first sale. Hope that helps.

Good luck with selling those domains. It's a nice summed up version of what to do to list them. I wonder if having them on Domain Social makes them irresistible? Probably.

I read on a DNF thread that .net is worth at most 10 % of its .com, and info 10% of .net. I mean, that's only a long time domainer's assessment, and pretty generalized. I would think that each case must be different, no? I'm newer than you to Domain social! I have probably spent 250-300 hours reading all kinds of domaining stuff, most of which has been interesting if not helpful. I really want to get Zach's book!

Would anyone happen to know how or where you can place a domain name up for bids at higher value? I've read articles where catchy names are being paid for top dollar, providing it's a catchy name. Anyone know where to look?
