Hi,
We have Single Domain forest with following Microsoft products available.
Exchange 2010, Lync 2010, Sharepoint, SC 2012 products.
We have a requirement where domain name change need to be performed. Now AFAIK domain rename is not possible after Exchange 2003 server. Hence would need to perform the migration here..
Can you please advise which of below approach will be possible
Create a new domain in exisiting forest and move users within domain.
Create a new forest with new domain and then perform an intra forest migration.
Will there be any specific cautions than needs to be taken care of. What would be implication for the same?
Please help.
