Do you hide your details on a domain?

When you purchase a new domain you are always given the option to purchase an extra to prevent your details from showing up on whois.

Are you someone who takes up this option when you purchase a new domain or does it depend on what you use the domain for?

With all my domains I always purchase this extra, if I had a business domain that I had registered I may consider keeping my details free to be found but a lot of my sites are personal so it's best for me to have mine hidden.

I always purchase whois protection for every domain I own. There is nothing worse than knowing that my details are freely available on a website for all to see who search using my domain name not to mention the tons of problems you can get with that if they choose to use your details. Always safe to spend extra for protection.
