Buying the same domain name with different extensions

Its not always possible to be able to buy the same domain name with different extensions as sometimes the domain name itself is taken for other extensions but have you ever been known to buy the same domain name with say .com, .org, .net and .co.uk?

I remember buying two of the same domain name with .com and .org extensions but that is the most I have purchased.

If I have the chance to get exactly the same domain name with different extensions such as .com, .org, .net and .co.uk I will jump at them and purchase. As you say though it is not always the case and in most cases it's the most popular extensions that are taken.
