this is my personal philiosophy
you got to do your risk-reward analysis.
if you can spend $200 to develop it and sell it for $1000 then why not.
if you spend $800 and sell it for $1000, it's less exciting
if you spend $1200 developing it and may only get $1000, then i'd sell it now rather than later.
but here's a tip for those selling domains.
if you have a network of high PR sites (PR5 or higher)
and you point it at a newly acquired related domain (within the same industry), i'd think you'd be able to do pretty ok with it (PR-wise).
then you can look at ways of building traffic.
if you can do both pretty easily, you could have a constant stream of high value domains to fob...i mean, sell.
