Googlebot is Google's web crawling bot. Crawling is the process by which Googlebot discovers new and updated pages to be added to the Google index. We use a huge set of computers to fetch billions of pages on the web.

Google bot is a web crawling bot that comes to the site and crawl the page, if it gets something new on the site it stores to the google index.
