Ads on Domain Social? Your ideas. - zach - 08-05-2013
Hi everyone
A while ago we launched Google Adsense ads on Domain Social. The costs of running the site were just too high for me to cover by myself (note - I make absolutely no money from Domain Social and it actually costs me quite a bit to keep this community running).
Recently, Google disabled ads to Domain Social because of an adult thread. Someone was selling adult-themed domains, and listing Adsense ads on those pages violated the Adsense terms and conditions.
I have no problem with this - if you want to sell adult themed domains, or discuss the .xxx gTLD, then go for it. But what this means is that we need a new ad source to cover the costs of running the server.
Do you have any ideas on the best ad source for Domain Social?
