What's up with article directories not getting any PR from google?

Im not even talking about PR 0... I mean not indexed in the toolbar PR databases at all!


Anyone know why this happens?

Google sees them as link farms.

Google has a lot of room to speak! But they have their rules and are entitled to them. We are entitled to search elsewhere!

Ahh but for right now they hold the keys to the kingdom. I like to to circumvent where I can.

I just purchased this software that shows rankings for article directories. Some are pretty high
