If you received an email from accountupdate@godaddy.com regarding a "Important ICANN Notice Regarding Your Domain Name(s)"

Please check the site the link direct you to, this one I received direct me to Godadidy.

I have the full copy of the email on my blog for anyone interested to see what the email looks like (the email and the website is exactly the same as Godaddy)

What happened when you contacted GoDaddy? I see on your blog that they said it was genuine?

got back an email from their abuse tean confirming it is genuine, then i stated the "Godadidy" then reply with the exact message saying it's genuine. Got back from their support staff with a auto msg saying I should be aware of scam and spam msg.

I give up!

Takwa, I appreciate you taking the time to let us know about this scam. I try to never click a link in an email for this very reason.
