triumph, what is the advantage of buying a domain alone from someone else if there's no website attached? Why not just register a new name?
And are you able to tell how much you paid for them, or would you prefer keeping those for yourself, I don't mind either way.
Some people like keeping the information secret. It might be smart to keep specific prices you paid to yourself.
I agree, depending on sums, there may be some that I wouldn't mention, but that was also why I used words such as "would you prefer keeping those for yourself"

Domains have a value for a lot of different reasons. Typo traffic, ease of use, keyword search engine marketbility.
I don't disagree with you in general, as most sites could save a ton of money marketing a new domain, but there are domains with real value that I think are worth being paid for regardless.
