not banned and it shows me links in google. And I know for a fact that site is banned because text links were sold and its against google TOS. How come the two different results?

That's odd. Perhaps it is no longer banned? I assume there must be some way to put things right with google and get a ban lifted.

There are people who figure out how to get back i nto Google's good graces. You don't hear of it too often, but it does happen!
