Hi
I was just wondering if it's worth it to buy .info domains, are their resale value worth the risk to buy them?
Yes, but, only if you know what you are doing Wink

If you want to be safe, stick with one word generic and high ovt.
yes r good and some have been sold for a nice price
yes because you can buy them for a cheap price.
I was on the link you gave, and saw the cheap domains. I was wondering why they are so inexpensive to purchase? If you already own some of these, you probably know why.
Actually I've seen the domains, but I haven't seen any site with .info. At least non that I can remember right now. I'm curious is they get a lot of traffic and how much are they really worth... but I guess it all depends on how would you develop it.

Those are some impressive prices, I agree.

I think that this is the first I've heard of info domains, though. Are they fairly new, or have they been around for a while?
.info started on late 2000.
About 4 million names are registered by March, 2007
1.6 millions have site on it although I am not sure how much of it are parked domains and/or MFA.
I suppose it depends on what the domain is used for. I haven't seen any .info domains in while doing research for the articles I write, but it might just be the nature of the research.
