I haven't seen anyone list a domain that uses the name of anyone famous, even as a typo. Do people just forgo trying to sell them or is it that no one has thought of trying? It seems like it would be very profitable.

Unless someone is trying to get people to log on hoping the site pertains to that person.

It would probably depends on who's name you used. If you have to have a signed release for using their name as you would for a model, then everything would hinge on whether or not the use of the name is discovered. Risky business,
