YouTube is probably great for getting visitors to a site. Just dont make boring ad videos..
Yes, but the editing is the worst thing I have ever done. Ever. I just hate it so much.:p Anyways, I have some more recent ones. I did another skateboarding/snowboarding one but I did something wrong so I am starting all over again. I just added a video to google so type in ppvgeneral on video google and you will see justin pascucci promo

hey zach,
viral's something that spreads like a virus.
you'd typically see exponential growth.
the marketing could take on a life of it's own outside of online, to offline as well.
for example, your colleague tells you abt this crazy clip on youtube, like the bus uncle clips or the william hung clip. you watch it, laugh, tell someone else.
you're seeing exponential growth with viral mkting.
in a way, it's a forum of guerilla mktg, where you're getting results far in proportion to the effort you put in.
simple, isnt it?

hey thoma, that paintball video was awesome.
the URLs in the credit must've generated some traffic?
how're your results?
-thoma- Wrote:Type in PPVGeneral is video.google.com and those are my most recent videos. I am really started to get into video edited and film making. I need to save around $1200+ for a camera at the moment. Type in PPVGeneral on youtube.com too and you will see my game trailer. Don't mind that stupid snowboard video it's horrible and I made it like 2 years ago.

Thanks for the great comments guys I really appreciate it and I am glad you like them! "Short paintball video" was one I created on the first day I started using a professional program. I used to use horrible Movie Maker but now it's Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5!

I'd have to vouch on the greatness of Adobe Premiere. If you want some additional help, tweaks and ease-of-blue screen, give a shot to Adober After Effects too

It's not making money from the videos, per se. It's using them as advertising. You make a video that showcases your service and include your URL, hoping people will check out your site.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Displaying/making videos itself doesn't make you money, but its the keywords and advertising. If you make good videos and throw a link in your videos, they would most likely say something like "Well, maybe they have other good videos to watch there" then they go visit your website.
