I started messing with it in 95/96. Had to go to a coffee shop and pay 2.50 to check my hotmail account. I have had the same email address there since then! Who knew it would take hold and increase to the addiction I have now!

I think I opened my first hotmail account back in 95 too... but I started using online services, basically America On Line, back in 93. I still have the same e-mail from then. But at that moment, those services were not connected to the "internet" as we know it now. And it was 3 dollars an hour to be there, with 10 hours free a month! Things have certainly changed since!

I used to check my email back in 92-93 through a DOS program called PINE (if i remember correctly).
Then we had windows 3.1 and everyone got all excited.
+ games would fit on a single floppy!
ahhh... the good old days.

I was in on the early days of AOL when if you went to the "internet" it was just lines of words on the screen...and we were still impressed!

Ya know, my ex used to tell me he was on the internet since 1992. I thought he was full of it! I guess I owe him an apology! You guys win as far as longevity. I do remember the days before unlimted access, that was the days I went to the internet cafes! LOL
I learned computers some in grade school...DOS systems, very Weird Science but less cool. Ah, the 80's!

I also remember Prodigy and the Imagination Networks!
Oh the phone bills I piled up! $1500 in one month!
I became an addict fask...for me it was like crack: one shot and you're hooked.
